Growing up in Tidewater my fondest memory was tending to the garden with my grandmother. Life felt still, the cars went by slower & the memory of her hummingbirds are still etched in my mind. Life looks a little bit different now yet I still feel that flutterly feeling when designing for my clients. I want to create that same feeling that brings you back to one of the best days of your life. Captivating colors, memorable scents, varieties of all kinds shown in the moving light while time stands still.

Ashbury Blooms is inspired by the eclectic neighborhood of Haight-Ashbury in San Fran, the birthplace of hippie counterculture in the 60s & 70s. I’m inspired to create an atmosphere of hope, acceptance & community in the flower world for all to enjoy just as Haight-Ashbury did.

 

Ashbury was made as an outlet for my creativity & my love of flora. Bright colors, sustainable practices & beautiful product is the key to my heart. Traveling to the best flower markets, attending flower shows, & creating beautiful arrangements on a day to day basis. It is so fulfilling to share in other’s special days, no matter the occasion.

 

With over 7 years of experience working in the floral industry, I see the mass amount of waste from shipping & processing. Going the extra mile to source sustainable products & reusing valuable resources gives me the peace of mind I am producing the best low waste option for clients & for the planet.
